Spider Catalytic Converter

Hi All - anyone know the part number / supplier for a replacement Spider catalytic converter?

Renault are denying all knowledge but I'm hoping the cat is a stock part

I'm running the stock exhaust, would like to keep the cat/sportcat for MoT time and don't want to lose the stealthiness of the hidden down pipe with any sort of full system replacement.

I replaced the whole lot including a sport cat and the stealth down pipe. Designed by PureMotorport
Cost about £1000. Massive difference in power delivery. The stock system is very restrictive.
Keep the old one in a box if you don't want to lose originality.

To close the loop on this thread, I fitted a stainless steel “sports cat” in the end at http://www.longlife.co.uk/ in Carshalton for few hundred pounds... high flow, kept the stealth exhaust which was still in decent condition and solved the mot emissions once and for all :up

That sounds like a result then !

Trying to fill the gaps in my knowledge, whats the benefit of a stealth exhaust ?

No real benefit to it other than keeping it stock; it’s the original configuration for the roadcar where the exhaust exits behind the rear bodywork ie the single pipe isn’t visible when viewed from the rear. A lot have been upgraded to nice sounding twin chrome pipes poking out from under the rear bodywork though - just not my preference
