As you are working with weight savings ...... will this be a competition car to use?

Anyone else had any experience with A110 screens?

Not yet but I will have later in the year, after the car comes back from the paint shop.

I've removed the screens and the front seal could possibly be reused, especially after reading your comments about your new seal. The rear seal will need replacing. Where did you obtain yours from?

Amazing how much of the original arches is cut away. They must have allowed for a lot of suspension travel...

Spent a lot of time repairing, tidying and repainting the front compartment in yacht enamel.

A pretty unpleasant job that I wouldn’t want to do again any time soon.

Getting there Stephen. I'll be Painting the inside of mine in a couple of weeks as the paint job is nearly complete.

Did you cut the hole over the steering rack/front suspension or was it like that when you acquired it? Certainly makes access easier for chassis painting and assembly. Does it have a cover?

Is the green webbing restraint a temporary measure until you fit the spring clip at the front of the bonnet. Or is the fuel tank between the seats and engine?

Weirdly the Access hole was only cut over about 75%. I removed the brake fluid reservoirs and cut it evenly so it was symmetrical. It is great for access. I will make up an aluminium cover.

The green is a bit of a colour clash with the orange but it works quite well. Will probably change it for Black. Yes tank is in the back on mine so not much to go back in here, rad and fans, brake fluid bottles and battery. There is currently not heater fan so may fit something for a little forced ventilation.

Agreed about the strap, I think black would look better.

Is that your Lithium battery in the first photo of the July 11th post?

I notice you went for yellow for the front suspension wishbones. I also went for colour when they were powder coated.

Nice :-)

Yes that’s the lithium battery, not convinced they have sufficient cranking capacity though.
