Prescott 2017 - New Arrangements - Opinion Please

Will anyone be there on Saturday?
I can't go on Sunday unfortunately. I think the A610 needs a run and I need to stop staring at the underside of the GTA.

Good question, I was thinking of maybe going if anybody was still competing?? I checked the weather for Prescott and it seems currently 21 to 23 degrees with some sun and cloud and between 50 to 80 percent chance of rain............

Usual Prescott weather for the time of year!

Just checked again and Saturday Partly Sunny, with greatest chance of rain between 9 & 12 (40%) and 3 & 6 (40%).

Sunday Cloudy, chances of rain between 12 & 6pm 30% after that 50%.

There are 14 entries in the French Marques invitation class on Sunday.

I don't know anyone who is going on Saturday.

Looks like I'll skip,Saturday and I can't do Sunday...next year then....

Typical soon as my tickets arrive the weather has chained to rain!! Bloody uk weather.

Tickets bought for Sunday, see you there guys, probably going in the Megane Maxim 1.5 DCi as weather not overly promising.

Well, went on Sunday, the rain held off, saw the RAOC guys competing and had a nice day based in the paddock chatting with our friends. However it did seem much quieter as far as spectators is concerned, the Orchard looked to be emptier of cars in this new format compared to the club stands of previous years, the car park across the road from the main entrance was quarter full and the number of people entering from the public car park looked to be a steady trickle instead of the usual steady flow. All in all It would seem to me they lost money on the day, I also heard that people were complaining especially the Italian car clubs, so I hope that our top man adds his voice to those already lodged and maybe next year all will be back to the club stands of old!

Hopefully the greedy organisers took a pill on the weekend and will be asking for support from the car clubs again next year.
