GTA without a PVR???

Just spotted this on Pinterest...
Was wondering which engine he had put in there?? Looks like a V6?? Maybe the same V6 used in the Avantime and such like?? Still it's a nice car and the transplant is very neat.

don't know but would suggest the LX7 engine would be transverse. What makes you think that is a V6?

I think it might be a PRV with a late plastic engine cover trim from a safrane or laguna or similar.

I've always assumed that any engine transplant would need to be to an inclined 4 as the prv being a 90 degree v6 is relatively short compared to the more usual 60 degree angle in most v6's. So any other v6 or vertical straight engine would stick up further. This one doesn't so I think stephen must be right and it's a Safrane v6.
The l7x is normally rotated forward and transverse in the installs I have seen making it a difficult or impossible fit into a GTA without modifying the suspension turrets...with all at implies.

You can see the black top pf the head on the left hand bank of the V too.

That's a safrane bi turbo engine.

better eyesight than me then, I cannot see any plugs.

Grooves in the covers

Plus, lots of other Renault V6 parts, like water reservoir, fuel pipes etc.
