Not a venturi or delorean. A Free Spirit!

I'm skint at the moment, so this is just looking/gassing, but I've always fancied one of these;

Guess who bought one?
Actually it's a Hudson Kindred Spirit which is 1 and a quarter of a seat, whereas the Free Spirit is a single seat.

In the process of sorting the brakes and hopefully an MOT will follow.
Then it'll be interesting to find out what 45hp in an 'under 400kg' 3 wheeler will drive like :crazy

That is the most awesome piece of automotive engineering I have ever laid my eyes on.................. :angel

Well not quite, but I've had an inkling for a reverse three wheeler for a while, admittedly I fancy a Guzzi engine Morgan rep, so I could wear goggles and a silk scarf.......but these have been on the radar, but like everything a bit 'left field' Ebay has ramped up the values and people over pay for half finished death traps that will only ever sit under sheets or in the back of lock ups.

What's under that sleek Lotus 7 style hood?...............1108cc GTL lump?, as you know plenty of tuning options, and if the worst should happen and you bin it major........it'll save Family on those ever rising funeral expenses.........just dig a hole and slide it in.

I love it, dead jealous, it's now on my list of must haves, along with a Fire Engine..........a classic tractor.....a Mopar.......a Lamborgini Espada......an A110.......a Sunbeam S7.....a Laverda Jota.......a Lincoln Continental.....Firebird Formula 400....

There was a DRK (Again R5 based but more 'Morgan' style) on the Bay recently. I think it reached £5k but was a very nice one.

Yes this appears to be an R1227 - 1108cc R5 GTL.
When I've got it on the road I'll have to see how much I like it before deciding on upgrades, but yes I know it's tuneable.
The other option is R5G motor swap :super

I may decide it's so similar to a motorbike (but without the 'filtering' capability) that I'd rather ride the bike... or maybe I'll love it.. :weed

Think!
A panther that is positively pink

I'd go for something a little more developed if it were me and always wanted a Grinnall Scorpion.

I do like those but they're a bit more expensive.
I saw one years ago at a track day as Cadwell Park.
It went like the clappers and although it's only 1 wheel drive (this is 2WD), it does have the benefit of being RWD.

This has loads of potential, although I'll probably just enjoy it as it is.

I saw one of these neat little things last year. A Blackjack Avion based on the Citroen 2CV. The rather legendary Richard Oakes (Nova, Midas, GTM Libra) is the man behind them:
