Shame about the date clash with Debden then.....

Both entries look a bit watered down although Farnborough have the best Renault/Alpine entry by far.
never thought I would want a list but now find myself needing one just to remind me: Clio V6 230, 5 gt turbo, 5 Gordini turbo, Megane RS 300 Trophy.

Not sure what you mean by "watered down" Mark? Forecast is "Sunny".

FDMCs "Eelmoor Sprint-Royale" near Aldershot has a FULL entry of 80 cars.
14 of which are Renaults or Alipines.
Oh yes and a couple of Metro-6R4s of which I am told one is a rather special ex-works car example.

This will be a good day out.
See you there.

I mean that half of the normal cars who compete with each other are at are at each others event. Despite both having Full entry lists..... (95 entries at Debden)
Shame you and Simon G cannot be out, you could have done well in your class given the lack of Porsches in class.

For 2016 FDMC will be running 2 Renault classes.
Under 1600cc and over 1600cc.

This applies to the Rushmoor Sprint at the end on March, as well as Eelmoor in October.
2 practice rums PLUS 4, yes FOUR timed runs, so great value.
For those with cameras, you can get round the whole of the perimeter and there is a defined "watching area" at the cross-over where cars driven in anger provide quite a spectacle. Check out youtube or links posted on the Farnborough District MC FB pages.

See you there.

sounds interesting...... just a capacity break or mod/roadging?
Notice all the Porsches entered at Debden yesterday got there asses well and truly walloped by a bog standard,2010 Megane 265..

The 265 Megane kicking the GT3RS's made my day Mark.

Should be out next season ready to try and do the same as the 265. The Renault Classes sound amazing ...great news.

Feel a championship coming on ...could a handicap system be devised ?

I am led to believe that it is "just a capacity break", no mention of "modified".
