This Sunday (9th) is the Le Mans test day- the only occasion this year when the full 24 hour circuit is open for testing.
Signatech-Alpine will run 2 A450's on the test to maximise test time amongst all the drivers. (the second car is 1st reserve for the 24 hours itself)


Today, the car and drivers were presented at the Technocentre Renault Guyancourt along with a few classic Alpines:

Scrutineering for this years race took place Sunday (and Monday for some other cars) at the Place de Republique.

2 red flags for barrier repairs has cut short both free practice and qualifying this evening.
Car 36 Signatech Alpine currently sitting 16th overall, 8th in class (of 22).
All teams now have a lot of work to do tomorrow.
final sessions begin at 1900 on Thursday.

After 2 rather disrupted qualification sessions, the Signatech Alpine will line up 15th on the grid for Saturdays race, 7th in the LMP2 class. A low key practice for the team, hopefully they have been working on race strategy. They have moved a slot up the grid due to the Strakka LMP1 team taking a penalty under the 110% rule despite setting the 8th fastest time.

I cant help but think....that Renault were going for the finish to show reliability

Many a true thing said in jest.

Never mind to finish the race with some difficult conditions is an achievement in itself..at the end of the day you can be the quickest car on the circuit but you still need to finish.

even gets listed as an Oreca Nissan in the results.
