The real beauty of these cars though is that they are very exotic with outstanding performance even judged by today's standards. They return incredible economy for the performance available.
I'm still trying to work out where the catch it. Cheap to buy, reasonable to run, zero depreciation, reliable, fast, comfortable, exotic, seats 4, incredible roadholding.
Unusually for a sports car they are easy to get in and out of so I don't see why someone couldn't be running one into their 60s. In fact my dad is 75 and he loves it.
