Seriously though, it could be good fun for those who are competing or looking to compete in motorsport.

It can also be 6 club event days out for the rest of us to go along and support our club mates competing. The first race at Rockingham is a bit close I guess for anybody looking to get their car prepared and compete but that infield circuit is big fun guys, I have driven it in saloons and single seat race cars and I always enjoy it so much I have to spend about an hour afterwards calming down before I venture back out onto the Queens Highway!

Just to get the ball rolling, found this Clio 172 on eBay at £2500 buy now. Lots of racey stuff already done and a spares package, seems a bargain to me?

did take a look at this earlier in the year but:

10.Transmission
Must be based on production unit from manufacturer of model to be raced, otherwise free. No
conversion from 2wd to 4wd or similar mods allowed. No sequential boxes. NOTE Invitation class free.

although there is a free invitation class.
probably happier racing where I am and not really got the budget for much more.
