LOL :-)

Respect that man, still got a ZX Spectrum (& keyboard late unstuck, sweet..)... ZX81 was Z80 processor based, can't remember now for the Spectrum, think it was still Z80A based wasn't it, just with the logic in the ULA, and more memory etc? .. used to repair these back in thd day, simply can't remember now... think used to over clock them, and graft in Z80Bs and run 'en at 6MHz ish... LOL... sad I know :-)

Well a more practical game in reality is this little jem a Honda Z600, just helped my mate pick this up been in a garage for 32 years. Just put a battery on it all the lights came on even the wipers and the wash, fule pump, indicators, number plate lights after all that time.

i bought one of the brand new in 1972 (shows my age) from the Honda dealer in Newcastle. DTN 10K i think it was, & about £800. Fab little car. NOT 2 stroke. It had a 600cc parallel 4 stroke twin. Basically a motorbike engine. Both cylinders fired at the same time, but only one was on compression. Simples !!!. Well engineered & pretty nippy. I must have a photo somewhere.

That is the test the clock does not lie, going to let it all settle down and that the cutout issue has gone then the rollers. The power to Wt should be about the same as my Gta but it feels a lot faster but the suspension feels right on the limit along with the brakes. The Gta is still the best car feels totally planted and predictable it doesn't have that feeling of mass Wt transfer as you go through the bends but it is really a Gt car it is more comfortable.

Well hopefully the last job has been done the removal of the immobiliser, it took the sparks 2 minutes to remove it and reconnect and make good, it sounds mad but all the dash lights are brighter starts better, he said it was a crude installation and pretty worthless to prevent theft like most car immobilisers.

Well I have been using the car a fare bit in the hot weather and just sitting in traffic with the A/C on and the cut out issues seems to be over. Personally I think it is caused by the Ecu having to many error faults and then it just shuts down and then resets, as all I have done is replaced faulty sensors and sorted some wireing but as I am crap at electric someone else sorted the wireing, but it is nice now going out and not worrying about not making it home. :Cheer
