Back to the Ace Cafe for the summer months.

French Classic & Performance Night officially from 6pm but no one is usually there before 7.30 - 8.00pm.

Plenty of parking and food at reasonable prices.

Regarding your headlights, when I had the mystery problem of the main and dip bulbs blowing due, as it turned out to an alternator problem I just used the side lights and the fog lamps for a couple of weeks...!

A "select" turnout last night, in shifts, good to see Barry, Simon, Stephen and Mark at the Ace. Hope everyone got home safely and without incident.
Sorry about the quality of the pictures, grease on the camera lens.
The whole place was quite empty, which seemed a surprise, I guess it's summer holiday season maybe.
Bigger turnout next month everyone?

Ace café meets have died a death, not just our club, there was hardly anyone there at all last night. Not been a great one for 2 years or so.

Sorry I didn't make it guys, but the weather was looking pretty dodgy for a car with no roof - shame as it was young "swag supercars" only real chance to come to a meet (as they normally finish too late for school the next day). Never mind. Next month perhaps?

He didn't miss anything Ian. I only popped in around 9.30 (in sensible roofed car). Really nothing there at all.

I think the main problem (apart from money being a bit tight for many) is that it's such a pain driving around London.
After a long day at work the idea of faffing around in North Circular (or whatever main artery) traffic puts a big grey cloud over the idea, which combined with the possibility of a real grey cloud over London (Iffy weather), makes it a chore.
