best pics for now are on twitter,
the new car (titled Z31) did a lap of Le Mans accompanied by a A110.

Hmmm. I'll reserve judgement for now I guess, but after the A110-50 concept, dare I say it, but looks a bit dumpy and slab sided to me. :silent

I know it was a concept and all that, but it was a fully working one.

I think it looks as exactly as they promised, faithful to the A110 shape. The pics of the real car on track look a lot better than those 2 rather CGI looking pics above. Compared with the A110 in front it is way bigger, but hen it had to be.
We are still in the dark about what's underneath though.

Bit underwhelmed by it at the moment. If it wasn't for the decals I don't think I would give it a second look. :yawn

I'm not bowled over either to be honest.

Give me an RS-01 with an Alpine badge and I'll be happy. The Noise :up :up :up

Looks too much like the Audi TT or the Peugeot RCZ for my liking. :(

it is officially a "close to production concept" but also "design including interior has been signed off"
would read that as pre production.

I agree with Miles, John C et Al - that is just a design disaster! More or less a modified, and quite uninspirational front end grafted on to an Audi TT. Who really cares what's underneath - we know it will be fwd and will in no way reflect traditional Alpine 'ideals'. A cop out if ever there was one!

My initial reaction is that it shows promise. Would have to wait until the actual production version is ready before making a final judgement.
I agree the roofline is like the Audi TT but the rear glass is totally different as it follows the shape of the A110 rather than the straight up and down of the TT.
If you didn't see the Le Mans lap, follow this link to 'Launch the experience'.
